Members

W. William Whiteside III - Chairperson
Mr. Whiteside has been the Chairperson of the HLRA since its creation in 2005 and formerly served 26 years on Horsham Township Council. He is also currently the Vice Chairman of the Military Installation Remediation and Infrastructure Authority.

Joanna M. Furia, Esquire - Vice Chairperson
Ms. Furia has been the Vice Chairperson of the HLRA since its creation in 2005 and formerly served 8 years on Horsham Township Council. Ms. Furia is an attorney whose practice is located in Horsham Township.

Eric Coombs - Member
Mr. Coombs was appointed in August 2020 and has a long history of involvement with the Horsham community. He brings an extensive background in information technology to the Board. His strategic planning expertise is helping the Board in the redevelopment of the former base.

Elizabeth Thomson - Member
Ms. Thomson was appointed to the board in 2026 and has worked in the insurance industry with MetLife for the past 24 years. She is also currently an elected member of Horsham Township Council.

Joseph Wade - Member
Mr. Wade was appointed in January 2020 and is a long time Horsham Township resident with extensive ties to our community. He most recently served on the Board of Directors of the Hatboro-Horsham School District and formerly on the Township's Police Pension Board. Mr. Wade brings a well rounded background in insurance and financial planning to the HLRA Board.
